Tarheel Specialties, Inc. (TSI) is a North Carolina
based security contract services company. TSI has proven
experience, expert and considerable corporate resources
and staff, practical methods and procedures, and a comprehensive
management approach to provide the high-quality consistent
security operations required. TSI was started in 2000
and in less than 5 years of business has established
itself as a dependable and consistent security services
provider. TSI - through the experience of our President/General
Manager Mr. Brian Gurkin - has been providing security
and other services to the United States Government and
business sectors on schedule for over twelve years.
TSI's overall experience with guard and security services
for the government comes from the extensive experience
of our management team. The TSI Management team has
experience in every kind of security and guard service.
Our corporate and project personnel are skilled at working
closely with customers to anticipate changed of evolving
security conditions. Our experience with armed guard
and security contracts enables us to support quick,
seamless phase-in; provide sound, consistent and comprehensive
security services; and to apply best practices and identify
areas for improvement to continually enhance both the
contract and program. Key personnel have successfully
implemented and managed more than 60 guards and security
services contracts, includiong previous IRS contracts
in Columbia, S.C., Orlando, Florida and Andover, MA.
For the past ten years, TSI has been a GSA scheduled
contractor (contract # GS-07F-0152N).

| Our
overall security services are to:
- Safeguard activities and federal employees and civilian
personnel against sabotage or any other incident that
might jeopardize the normal operation of the federal
buildings and grounds - such as illegal entry, theft,
robbery, riot, lawlessness, violence or demonstrations.
- Safeguard property, materials and/or information
against espionage and unauthorized disclosure.
- Assist in plans and procedures to be followed in
the event of any major catastrophe or special event
to ensure adequate security measures are maintained
within the command.

TSI was started in 2000 and in less than five years has
established itself as a dependable, consistent security
services provider. TSI provided services for FEMA due
to Hurricane Isabel throughout the State of North Carolina.
Gracia Szczech, Federal Coordinating Officer, wrote, "The
security service provided by your company was most professional.
The demonstrated professionalism and flexibility displayed
by your staff was noted and many favorable comments were
received from our staff commenting on your officer's friendliness

| Past
Performance |
FEMA - we provided security service
for FEMA personnel in the Carolinas after Hurricane
Isabel. We provided security for about 2,000 disaster
relief personnel. Duties often included escorting state
officials throughout the state.
National Institute of Environmental Health Service
- TSI provided overall campus security, patrolled approximately
40 acres of grounds with various buildings and a 17-acre
lake. We also provided armed security guard services,
pass and ID, and escort service for dignitaries.
IRS-Andover, MA - We provide entrance
control post, roving patrol posts, traffic control and
storage of keys. We also monitored and operated building
fire alarms, intrusion detection systems, and other
protection devices. We also responded to emergencies
and disturbances.
John F. Kennedy Library - The level
of security for the JFK Library is higher due to the
contents such as extensive inventory of documents, photographs
and the Kennedys' personal effects. Many high-ranking
officials and foreign dignitaries visit the library,
often requiring an increased level of security.
